  • Knowledge about different ways of playing and their possibilities of learning potential
  • Knowledge about teaching, activities, experiences and learning with different basic activities
  • Knowledge about how to plan, carry out and assess teaching in P.E. and Health
  • Knowledge about the importance of P.E. and Health according to life style both for the individual person and the society

Knowledge and proficiency about basic skills in running, jumping and throwing activities

Knowledge about physiology and science of training

Knowledge about the health orientated angle of all forms of bodily activity with children  and understanding of the official recommendations about physical activity

  1. Knowledge about chaos games e.g. basic football,  basic basketball, basic handball, basic hockey ( "mini games") - Net games  Kids volley - hitting games e.g., rounders, softball
  2. Knowledge about game development
  3. Knowledge about theory and practice in teambuilding
  4. Knowledge about ball games in a social psychological perspective
  5. Knowledge about sports culture and sports values in the society
  6. Knowledge about physiology and metabolism, aerobe and anaerobe training
  7. Knowledge about assessing PE and Health using different perspectives such as the playful,  the competitive, the expressive, the experimental as well as the health and environment angle

Competences to be developed:

  1. Knowledge about and the skills needed to be safe in the nature in the different seasons of the year
  2. Be able to use the schools surroundings and emphasize local traditions in the teaching of outdoor life
  3. Knowledge about how to do different outdoor activities without doing any harm to the nature
  4. Knowledge and skills in  preparing meals outdoors
  5. Be able to plan and arrange outdoor excursions that are adapted to the pupils level of knowledge about and skills in outdoor life
  6. Knowledge about how to use digital tools to describe their experiences in the nature
  7. Knowledge and reflexions about outdoor activities as sport, as outdoor life and as outdoor tourism activities.
